Information
Mahogany is our feature wood and is perfect for all skill levels of woodworking. Mahogany is easily worked with machine or hand tools and is easy to carve. A straight, interlocked grain creates mahogany's distinctive look. Finishing possibilities are also endless, as it easily takes stains, clear and natural finishes. Sizes vary from small turning blanks to boards for furniture. We also offer large carving blocks and solid, single piece, flawless guitar body blanks.
Although most pieces are relatively smooth, we have listed all sizes as if the lumber was rough cut. Sizes listed are rounded down to the nearest 1/4 inch to allow extra material for surfacing by customer. The listed size is the presumed size after surfacing.
