Hard Maple has been a favorite of American furniture makers since early Colonial times. It is also the standard for cutting boards. Hard Maple is perfect for butcher blocks, toys and cabinetry. It is particularly resistant to abrasion and wear.
Although most pieces are relatively smooth, we have listed all sizes as if the lumber was rough cut. Sizes listed are rounded down to the nearest 1/4 inch to allow extra material for surfacing by customer. The listed size is the presumed size after surfacing.
